2019 Infiniti QX60

According to the latest reports, 2019 Infiniti QX60 will come with some big updates. This should be the last refresh of first generation of this mid-size luxury crossover from Nissan’s luxury division. It originally came in 2012, and it comes with close relations with current generation of Pathfinder, which came in the same period. According to various reports, company already works on next generation, which should come somewhere around 2020. So, this refresh will be the last modification of current model, which should keep it fresh until new model arrive. Most likely, 2019 QX60 will receive some visual updates, but we could also see some new technologies. We expect its arrival somewhere in the second half of next year.

This luxury crossover will continue to ride on the same D Platform, which underprints several other models from Japanese manufacturer, such as Nissan Pathfinder, Murano etc. This luxury crossover is closely related to Pathfinder. It comes with same mechanics and pretty similar dimensions. On the other side, visual appearance is completely difference. The 2019 Infiniti QX60 could come with some changes in this aspect. Some reports suggest that company could introduce some new styling solutions, in order to give us clue about how next generation could like. However, these changes shouldn’t be major. We will probably see some tweaks at the front end, on areas such as grille, headlights, bumper etc. Rear end of the car probably won’t feature any change.

When it comes to powertrain, expect no changes for 2019 Infiniti QX60. It will continue in same way, featuring both hybrid and conventional gasoline powertrain. Base model will feature a 3.5 liter V6 gasoline engine, which is good for 265 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. When it is about hybrid model, it features a 2.5 liter engine with 230 horses and 243 pound-feet of torque and electric motor with 20 hp and 29 lb-ft. So, total output is around 250 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. When it comes to transmission, both models come with CVT.
