2017 Nissan Sentra

The 2017 Nissan Sentra is expected to come without bigger changes, compared to current model. These are the expectations for the upcoming model, which is in production for almost three and a half decades. It was originally introduced in 1982. We have seen seven generations so far. First models we subcompact, when it comes to size while models that came after 1999 grown up, and this sedan nowadays belongs to the class of compact cars. Current generation was released in 2012, and it was already refreshed last year, when it got several new things. Because of that, bigger changes are not expected for the 2017 Nissan Sentra.

This sounds very reasonable, since last year we saw many new things. Company did a refresh, which brought changes both outside and inside the car. When it is about exterior design, base characteristics remained the same. Overall shaper remained unchanged, but there are many new parts, especially at the front of the car. There are new bumpers, new lighting, wheels, hood, tailgate etc. The 2017 Nissan Sentra will continue in with the same appearance, which is completely adapted to the company’s new design language. It will closely resemble to the bigger models such as Altima and Maxima. When it is about interior, we saw new steering wheel, slightly revisited dashboard, new power driver’s seat etc.

When it is about safety, 2017 Sentra will come with features like antilock brakes, stability control, tire-pressure monitoring, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, a rearview camera, forward collision mitigation system with automatic braking etc.

The 2017 Nissan Sentra will come with the same 1.8 liter engine in offer. This unit is good for about 130 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque. This amount of power is good a 0-60 sprint in about 10.1 second. That definitely isn’t the greatest result. This car may not give you some great performances but on the other side, it will give excellent fuel economy. Fuel economy goes around 30 mpg in a combined drive with manual transmission, and about 32 mpg with CVT.

The 2017 Nissan Sentra is expected to come somewhere late this year, probably in December. It should keep pretty much the same price. Price goes around 16.800 dollars for a base variant.
