2017 Nissan Pulsar Nismo

Although this nameplate is present in car industry for many years. Current version is a pretty much new model. Original Pulsar was released way back in 1978. It was produced until 2005. During that time, we saw plenty of modifications. After some time of brake, company revived this models, and nowadays it is a compact hatchback, designed primarily for European market. Although recently introduced, this model already makes good sales results, and company introduced its performance version too. This model is company’s represent in segment of hot hatchbacks, and it will come later this year as 2017 Nissan Pulsar Nismo.

The 2017 Pulsar Nismo, will be characterized not only by great performances, but also with a very attractive look. Although its styling will be based on standard model, we will see plenty of modifications that will emphasize car’s sporty character. We will see a completely new, racing body kit, which will be heavily influenced by company’s supercar GT-R. We will see new racing bumpers, rear spoiler, new 19-inch alloy wheels, new exhaust configuration and plenty of other smaller tweaks.

Interior 2017 Nissan Pulsar Nismo will also follow these changes. Although base design of the cabin will remain unchanged, we will see plenty of details, which will make a real sports car of this hatchback. For example, we will see sporty steering wheel, aluminum pedals, racing seats and plenty of other smaller details, such as plenty of Nismo badges all around the vehicle.

The 2017 Nissan Pulsar Nismo will be characterized by excellent performances. Although it will be powered by the same engine as standard model, it will come with significantly more power. According to the latest reports, total output of this variant will be around 280 horses. This amount of power will provide excellent performances. Expect 0-60 time around 6 seconds, while top speed should be around 155 miles per hour.

The 2017 Nissan Pulsar Nismo is expected to come somewhere late this year. Although this model is designed for European market, there are indications that this specific performance variant will be offered in North America too. Exact price is still unknown,  but we expect that base model will go around 30.000 dollars.

      Currently no, but we hope that Nissan change the decision and bring Pulsar in South Africa. The Pulsar is a VW Golf-sized hatchback that does duty in Europe and areas in the East including Australia.

    It would be nice to let Pulsar GT owners upgrade their car to the nismo version.
