The 2017 Nissan Patrol will follow the path of this iconic nameplate, which is definitely one of the best-known in the car industry, especially when it is about off-road vehicles. This SUV in in production for about 65 years, and definitely has a status of a legend. It was originally launched way back in 1951. Since then, we have seen six generation of it. Current model was released in 2010, and it is expected to be in production for another several years. Current model is also known as Nissan Armada in North America. According to the latest reports, 2017 Nissan Patrol will come without bigger changes, compared to current model.

The 2017 Patrol is expected to come with the pretty much same characteristics as this model. When it is about exterior design, it will feature all those novelties that came with 2014 refresh. There are many new things such as new headlights, taillights and other.

Interior was significantly improved, and now features better look, and many new technologies. The 2017 Patrol has plenty of premium features. We will mention just some of them. There are things like large touchscreen on the dashboard, navigation, voice recognition, dual-zone climate control and many other premium features, both in terms of entertainment and safety.

The 2017 Nissan Patrol will be powered by the same, well-known and proven, 5.6 liter V8 engine, which has max output of 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. It comes paired with either automatic or manual transmission, which deliver power to rear wheels in base variant, while AWD configuration is optional. There is also a more powerful variant, modified by company’s performance division Nismo, which comes with max output of 430 horses.

2017 Nissan Patrol release date and price

The 2017 Nissan Patrol is expected to come somewhere late this year. It should keep pretty much the same price as current model, which goes around 50.000 dollars.
